Author Guidelines
Sentosa Research Journal (SRJ) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts from academics, researchers, and practitioners. Manuscripts submitted to SRJ must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
1. Types of Manuscripts
SRJ accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Manuscripts may be written in English (preferred) or Bahasa Indonesia, using clear, academic, and formal language.
3. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be prepared in the following order:
Title
Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
Abstract (150–250 words)
Keywords (3–5 keywords)
Introduction
Literature Review (if applicable)
Research Methodology
Results
Discussion
Conclusion
Acknowledgements (optional)
References
4. Formatting Requirements
Manuscript length: 6,000–8,000 words (including references)
Paper size: A4
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
Spacing: 1.5
Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
Tables and figures should be numbered and titled clearly
5. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should briefly describe the research background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords should reflect the core content of the manuscript.
6. References and Citations
References should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style.
All citations in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant sources.
7. Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure the originality of their work.
Any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
Research involving human participants should comply with ethical standards and approvals where applicable.
8. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to SRJ undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
9. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Authors should ensure that all required metadata are completed accurately.
10. Publication Decision
The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial evaluation.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
