ANALYZING THE EFFECTS OF REMOTE WORK ON EMPLOYEE WELL-BEING AND COMPANY PERFORMANCE

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the effects of remote work on employee well-being and company performance. The rapid adoption of remote work has transformed organizational structures, work processes, and employee experiences worldwide. This research employs a library research method by reviewing scientific journals, books, and organizational reports related to remote work, employee well-being, and organizational performance. The findings indicate that remote work positively influences employee well-being through increased work-life balance, reduced commuting stress, and greater autonomy. However, challenges such as social isolation and blurred work-life boundaries also emerge. From a performance perspective, remote work enhances productivity, reduces operational costs, and increases employee retention when supported by effective management practices and digital infrastructure. The study concludes that remote work can improve both employee well-being and company performance if implemented strategically and supported by organizational policies.
