Strategi Pengelolaan Arsip Digital di Sub Bagian Tata Usaha Kementrian Agama Kabupaten Subang

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the archives management strategy in the Sub-Division of Administration of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Subang Regency as part of an effort to improve administrative effectiveness and the quality of public services. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman (1994), which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and simultaneous and repeated drawing of conclusions or verification. The results of the study indicate that the archives management strategy at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Subang Regency focuses on archive digitization, the use of the SRIKANDI (Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System) system, and the use of online platforms such as Google Drive and Google Forms to support centralized document storage and tracking. Furthermore, employee competency improvement is carried out through internal training and technical assistance in digital archives management. This strategy demonstrates a real effort to encourage transformation towards a technology-based bureaucracy and transparency of public information. However, the study also found several challenges in implementation, including limited infrastructure such as the lack of a dedicated archives room, resistance of some employees to digital systems, and the lack of sustainable budget and policy support.
